About Me Hi, I’m Jia Destiny (NYC-based) — a licensed cosmetologist, makeup artist, and hairstylist with a deep passion for beauty, fashion, and helping others feel confident and empowered. I’m a proud graduate of the Aveda Institute of New York City, where I built a strong foundation in hair, skincare, and holistic beauty. With over five years of experience in the beauty industry, I’ve worked with some of the most iconic names in cosmetics. I started my journey at Macy’s, working with Estée Lauder, Clinique, and MAC, and for the past three years, I’ve continued my growth as a beauty expert at Sephora. These experiences sharpened my skills in artistry, skincare, product knowledge, and working with a wide variety of skin tones and hair textures. In addition to offering makeup and hair services for events, photoshoots, and everyday glam, I’m also the founder of Rūt Beauti — my own cosmetic brand created to celebrate individuality, self-expression, and the beauty in every skin tone. My brand reflects the same values I bring to every client: confidence, creativity, and care. Beyond the glam, I’m passionate about educating my clients — helping you understand what products are best for your skin, how to care for your hair, and how to recreate your look at home. I believe beauty is personal, and knowledge is power. And soon, I’ll be expanding my services beyond NYC! CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation Policy At Jia Destiny Beauti Salon, we value your time and strive to provide the highest level of service. To ensure smooth scheduling for all clients, we kindly ask that you respect our cancellation policy. Cancellations & Rescheduling • Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment. • Same-day cancellations or no-shows will be charged 100% of the service deposit. Late Arrivals • We allow a 15-minute grace period. After that, your appointment may be shortened or canceled if it affects the next client’s service. • Full service charges may still apply. Group Bookings / Special Events • A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure group bookings or event services (e.g., weddings, photoshoots). • Group or bridal appointments must be canceled or changed at least 7 days in advance to avoid additional fees. Deposits • Certain services require a deposit to hold your appointment. This deposit is non-refundable but can be applied to a rescheduled service if done within the cancellation window.
